Many parts of Gujarat have experienced heavy rainfall in the last few days. District Administrations across Gujarat are working round the clock to monitor and provide rescue and relief where necessary.
State-wide forecast for Gujarat for 03/08/2017:
Light to moderate rain or thundershowers very likely at a few places in the districts of Gujarat region and at isolated places in the districts of Saurashtra and Kutch.
Further Updates:
- Power restoration has been completed in Banaskantha district.
- Road connectivity is being restored at a fast pace in rain affected districts.
- Dewatering is being carried out in water logged areas of Radhanpur.
- 100 additional manpower comprising of supervisors and sanitary inspectors are being sent to Radhanpur from Bhavnagar and Junagadh.
- 50000 water pouches, 5000 ration kits and 2000 blankets being sent to Radhanpur from Ahmedabad.

- Distribution of assistance and cash doles is being undertaken at a fast pace.
- Massive operation on road cleaning is being undertaken.
